Core Assessment

Dietary Pattern Analysis

The foundational service offering. A structured seven-day dietary log is reviewed for composition accuracy, macro and micronutrient distribution, meal frequency patterns, and hydration adequacy. The output is a written assessment report with identified gaps and ranked priorities.

The analysis uses a standardised format derived from published nutritional assessment frameworks, adapted for individual rather than population-level output. Reference values are drawn from current UK dietary reference values.

The assessment report is the required entry point for all other Elorand services. It establishes a documented baseline against which subsequent plan revisions are measured.

Planning Module

Personalised Meal Planning

Built directly from the assessment report, the meal plan module constructs a structured weekly eating schedule. Ingredient selection accounts for seasonal availability, cooking time constraints, ingredient preferences from the intake questionnaire, and realistic shopping patterns.

Each plan specifies portion sizes by weight or volume, not by approximate serving description. Seasonal ingredient alternatives are listed for each core component, allowing practical flexibility without nutritional compromise.

Monthly plan revisions are included for clients on the six-month engagement track. Revisions incorporate feedback from the previous period and adjust for seasonal produce changes.

Weight Management

Weight Management Guidance

Weight management is addressed through structural dietary adjustment, not through restriction protocols or rapid change targets. The methodology identifies the specific composition and timing factors contributing to the client's current weight trajectory and intervenes at those points.

Energy balance is calculated from documented activity data and dietary log review. Adjustments are modest and sequential — prioritising sustainable change over rapid but temporary shifts. Each adjustment is documented with a rationale and a projected review timeline.

Elorand products are nutritional food-supplements registered with the applicable local regulatory authority under food-supplement classification. Products meet compositional and labelling requirements for nutritional supplement categories.

Engagement Structure

How a Service Engagement Proceeds

Every Elorand engagement opens with an intake questionnaire and seven-day food log submission. This data is reviewed before the first consultation session. The session itself is used to clarify priorities, not to introduce new information — the work has already begun before the first meeting.

Service provision follows a documented sequence: assessment, plan construction, provision, week-4 review, week-12 review, and close-out documentation. Each stage produces a written output retained in the client file.

We recommend speaking with a qualified wellness or nutrition professional before introducing any supplement to your daily routine, particularly if you have specific dietary requirements.

Service Questions

Frequently Asked Service Questions

Does the dietary assessment require any preparation before the session?
Yes. A seven-day food log must be submitted a minimum of two working days before the assessment session. The log is reviewed and analysed before the meeting, so the session itself can focus on priorities and plan direction rather than data collection.
Can services be combined or are they delivered individually?
Services can be delivered as a combined engagement or individually. The dietary pattern analysis is the required entry point for meal planning and weight management guidance. Gut-friendly recipe development and sport nutrition modules can be accessed independently after the initial intake questionnaire is completed.
How long is a typical engagement?
The standard engagement is 12 weeks, encompassing assessment, plan provision, and two review sessions. A short-form engagement of 6 weeks is available for clients who require a single focused module rather than the full dietary review and planning cycle.
Is in-person attendance required for all sessions?
No. The initial assessment session is recommended in person at the Berwick Street practice where possible, but all subsequent sessions are available via video call. The food log review, plan provision, and documentation are all conducted remotely by default.
